This policy explains how MinutePad (an iOS notes app, “the App”) handles your data. Items marked “to be confirmed” will be completed in the final version.

What we collect

Almost all data in the App is content you enter yourself:

  • Note content: the text of your notes and their completion state.
  • Time and reminder settings: a time slot (morning / afternoon / evening) or exact time, reminder lead time, and repeat rules (Pro).
  • Blocked time ranges (Pro): time windows you set.
  • Theme preference: the colour theme you chose.

The App does not require an account and does not collect your name, email or phone number.

Where data is stored

  • Notes and settings are stored on your device. The widget reads the same data through an App Group so it can show notes on the Home Screen and let you tick them off.
  • iCloud sync (CloudKit private database): data lives in your own iCloud account and the developer cannot access it. Whether this is enabled in v1.0: to be confirmed.

Permissions

  • Notifications: used for note reminders, scheduled locally on the device. Whether remote push is used: to be confirmed.
  • Camera / Photo Library: used only when you choose OCR capture of a schedule. Whether images are processed on-device only or uploaded: to be confirmed.
  • Calendar: written to only when you choose “Export to Apple Calendar”.

AI features (Pro)

The AI scheduling assistant sends the task text you enter to a cloud AI service (Azure OpenAI, through a relay maintained by the developer) to generate scheduling suggestions. Exact fields sent and retention: to be confirmed.

Subscriptions and payment

Pro subscriptions are handled by the Apple App Store (StoreKit). Payment details are processed by Apple; the App never sees your card information.

Third-party analytics and ads

The App contains no ads. Whether third-party analytics are used: to be confirmed.

Children

The App is not designed for children under 13.

Changes

When new features are added (for example two-way Google Calendar sync), this policy will be updated with a new date.
